One worksheet should answer one research question
Do not try to capture the entire family in a single reunion form. Assign a branch, ancestor, photograph group, or unresolved relationship to each worksheet and record who supplied every answer.
Separate evidence from recollection
Family memories are essential sources, but they should be attributed. Mark whether a statement comes from an interview, original record, image, index, published work, online tree, or researcher conclusion.
Protect living relatives
Use approximate years when exact dates are unnecessary. Keep contact details, complete birth dates, DNA findings, adoption information, health information, and other sensitive facts out of public displays and broadly shared documents.
